You might want to call them and ask but if you're a senior citizen you should have document of that to present
We had a wonderful dinner and a very nice waiter. I highly recommend this restaurant! Best Mexican we have found in the area so far!
This is absolutely the best Mexican restaurant around. The prices are decent and the portion sizes are monstrous. I usually always get the fajitas; they are delicious! I'm only giving four stars, because the service isn't consistently the greatest. The last few times we've gone, the waitress acts like it would kill her to smile or show an ounce of friendliness.
Favorite Mexican in the area! Avocado salsa on their salsa bar is amazing! Great service! Reasonable prices.
Best service I had there in a while
Really good food! Didn’t know what to expect coming into here since me and my girlfriend are currently on a vacation. Awesome food, good service. Will come drive 3.5 hours just to eat here again!
Fresh, authentic Mexican food served with a smile. The chips and salsa are excellent and be sure to try the fajitas!
My family eats here often! This is my go to! Love the grilled chicken quesadilla, fajitas, and chicken fajitas nachos. Really anything with that cheese dip.
Get the giant burrito so delicious!
In not normally a fan of Mexican But my wife wanted to eat there. If u could have given it 6 stars I would. Huge proportions and extremely reasonable. They have a fresh salsa bar and out meals were so fresh Amazing.
Best Mexican food I have ever had inside the USA. Salsa bar was terrific. I ate carnita's verde just the right heat without overwhelming the food. Taquilla fajitas marinated to perfection. The grilled portion of food was tender and juicey! I am traveling but would look for an excuse to travel backt. Service was very good too!
The service is great, I love the decor. The food was very good. I definitely will go back again and again.
Our absolute favorite family mexican restaurant. We live a town away and love to come here. Today our server showed me a cheaper option to what I usually order and it made all the difference. Saved me almost $7.
Fast service and they were nice. The portions are too big for me, but if you're okay with leftovers then it's good. Weird positive, but the men's room has a urinal and stall of course, but the stall has a sink and trash can as well, which I really liked. Parking can be a little crowded since it's in a pretty packed shopping center, and the place is busy every time I'm near it.
It was busy but had a table within 20 mins in and out within an hour the food was moist and very flavorful the service was excellent never had to ask for a refill by far the best Mexican restaurant around
Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the tri-cities. We have been eating here for years quite often and by far the best food, fast service and amazing staff. Raymond is always very welcoming and friendly making us feel at home every time we come in as well as always being very professionally dressed. All the staff are super friendly and the food is absolutely delicious, fast and fresh. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend!!
Best Mexican food restaurant that is best Kingsport, tnt but is located in Bristol, Virginia. It's only 17 miles from our home. They have a large variety of the midst delicious Mexican food I have ever had.
Found this place on a whim. The ratings were high so thought we would try it. We were seated in a timely manner. The prices were very high. Our waitress brought our water and then took forever to come take our order. We waited a long time for our food. The waitress never came to refill the chips while we were waiting. Some other man brought us our food finally. Our waters were empty and the waitress never came back to check on us. She finally refilled the water after we finished eating and when she brought the check.. The food itself was good although pricey, however the 3 stars are for the service and the high prices.
Used to be the best Mexican food around. Now the food and service is just so so. Tonight our waiter just disappeared on us and we waited forever to get our food.
This was a terrible experience, rude, forgetful, hair in food, we didn’t even eat, we left after finding hair and then forgetting our food 3 times! Do not go here, they will also talk about you in Spanish when you tell them something was wrong..
I've been eating here for 5+ years. Salsa bar with variety. Grilled chicken soft tacos are my favorite. Raymond is the face of this place. When's he's not here, everyone seems sad and confused... Today wasn't my best visit. Was sat at a table that wasn't completely clean and food all over the floor. Also no silverware or napkins. Had to get up and get them myself. Also my biggest pet peeve at a Mexican restaurant is getting lemon in my water when I clearly stated multiple times NO Lemon. It's Wednesday 12:30 and it's empty in here. All in all, it's decent bang for the buck.
Absolutely the best Mexican food I have had , not just I'm the area , but ever. Wonderful staff , wonderful management , and a comfy atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. If you enjoy Mexican food , stop wasting money at other places. Extremely well seasoned plates , wonderful corn tortillas , everything from cool to spicy , and they even have a salsa bar with this thing called " white salsa " which is a good enough reason to go for itself.
Everything was fantastic!! The owner is opening a new upscale Mexican/Seafood Restaurant where Outback used to be in Bristol. Its decorated beautifully with a HUGE bar, oyster bar, lots of seafood! After all, Mexico IS surrounded by ocean.....Try it!! Opening by first of April..
We went there to have valentine's dinner. A great change from the usual expensive restaurants. This place is fun and the food is excellent. The potions are large and the prices are small. Good wait staff.
The food is tasty and authentic Jalisco style. The interior made us feel in Mexico. The waitress was friendly. Excellent value for money
Fast friendly service and delicious food chicken fajitas, soft shell taco , patio fajitas
Magnificent! A lot of delicious food for the money.
It took a while for the waiter to return to our table a few times when we needed him, but the amazing food and polite service made up for it by far.
The food here was great. You are seated and provided chips. You go up to a salsa bar where you can choose your own sauces. They even have this great onion habanero mix that was great on the chip and the meal. They were able to seat 14 of us together and also brought out a large sombrero for the Birthday person to wear while the staff and us sang happy birthday.
This place is great love the food awesome prices
Genuinely one of the best restaurants in existence. I’ve been eating here since I was a child and the quality of the food has never ever disappointed me. Sure, sometimes they get a little busy and the service gets a little slow but what restaurant doesn’t? However, I’ve only noticed that it happens during rush times so if you’re really picky about the length of the service, go when it’s not busy or just enjoy yourself during the wait. It’s not that big of a deal and it’s definitely worth it for this place. The management is excellent and accommodating. Our favorite server is Javier and we will always sit with him if he’s working! He is such a kind, hard working young man who makes each table feel at home! Bottom line: I would give more stars if I could.
We have been enjoying El Patio for many years. The food is always consistently good, whether you order takeout or are dining in.
Everything here is delicious. Love the salsa bar. Great service.
Delicious salsa bar! Great menu and fresh seafood options.
Best Mexican place in Bristol hands down. My kids always clean their plate here.
Many years ago when El Patio first opened, I wasn't very impressed. However, in recent years they have seriously stepped up their game and the food quality has so improved that this has become my favorite Mexican restaurant. The meals are well prepared, everything is fresh and hot, well seasoned, and the wait staff is always pleasant and friendly. They still bring all the nachos you can eat, but you now have to go to the salsa bar for your salsa, but that's okay because the salsa selection is amazing. They have several varieties ranging from mild to hot - but not burn your tongue off hot. Five stars, can't wait to go back.
The new salsa bar is a really nice touch; you can get an assortment of salsas to go with your tortilla chips which vary from mild to spicy. We really liked the mango salsa, which was really more of a pico de gallo with mango added. Now, we grew up in Texas, so we're rather picky about our Mexican food. We both ordered the Special Dinner which included a chile relleno, chalupa (tostada), beef enchilada, beef taco, and a tamale. The tamale was as good as any restaurant tamale I've had, but the taco and enchilada were both made with ground beef that had no seasoning as far as we could tell, and the enchilada had no sauce or cheese in it. The chalupa was tasty as well. We've eaten here before, but I'd never tried the special dinner. I'll stick with cheese enchiladas in future.
I really liked the salsa bar! It doesn't sound like much, but it was novel to have more than one to choose from. Server was a charming young man and I'm sorry I missed his name. Food was average and the chips were warm.
It's Mother's day Sunday, and I chose El Patio for my takeout lunch. What a disappointment! My daughter and I couldn't eat the mess we got. Her food was cold and had the liquid running out of container into the bag. My taco salad was unbelievable. There was liquid grease covering the bottom of the takeout box, the entire shell that should have been crisp, was a soggy mess. The meat was cold and unseasoned. This restaurant will not be getting any more business from me.
Had 3 people working on cinco da mayo. Waited 45 minutes outside in line on top of 30 minutes it took to fix. Cold and did not have order right. Girl didn't say boo was not very friendly but can you blame her since the other 2 couldn't get the orders out. Need a better take out system during these fun times of Corona. Can't wait for Puerto Nuevo to open back up. That food is worth the wait, this place, not worth waiting.
My stepfather had been telling me for a while that I needed to come try El Patio. I finally did today and was amazed. This was the first time I was unable to finish all my food, the portions were huge and the food was delicious! I can't wait to come back again and try more things off the menu.
